The COVID-19 global pandemic has changed many aspects of our everyday lives, ways of interacting with each other, and conducting business.
The health and safety of our attendees, vendors, and staff is our highest priority and we wanted to reach out to let you know that we have decided to reschedule the 2020 Getaway. Social distancing orders and travel restrictions across the globe have made it impossible for our team to confidently continue planning our original June event. We pride ourselves on producing an event that brings you high-quality educational opportunities, shopping, prizes, friendship and FUN, and the best way for our team to be sure that we can deliver what you expect from us is to reschedule. November 13-15, 2020 will be the perfect time for us to reconnect with each other, refocus on our creativity, and restock our supplies.
These new dates will not affect existing registrations. Eventbrite has already updated existing tickets and registered attendees will receive a new confirmation email soon.
We are doing our part to socially distance. Our team has always worked remotely from across Texas and Louisiana and will continue to do so. All communication between staff, vendors, and sponsors will only be conducted in online formats.
